Fall OOTD
| Ivy & Leo Dress | Ivy & Leo Scarf | Toms Wedges |
FINALLY I can start breaking out my scarves! I love nothing more than fall fashion and I was very excited to take advantage of this chillier day by wearing my new scarf. I love the thickness of this scarf. It’s thicker without feeling like it’s too big on me and taking over. It worked out great that I had a t-shirt dress that matches it perfectly! What’s your favorite fall fashion go to?

What We Wore Wednesday
Rachel’s Look
| Etsy Blanket Scarf | Express Sweater | American Eagle Jeggings | LL Bean Boots (similar) | Tory Burch Earrings |
Today was a cold and rainy day so I wasn’t able to take pictures outside. Since it was a chilly day I decided to break out my blanket scarf! If you don’t own a blanket scarf I definitely suggest getting one. They are so great at keeping you warm while still looking cute! I also wore my new Tory Burch earrings and I love them! My LL Bean boots were great at keeping my feet warm and dry on this drizzly day.

| J.Crew Factory puffer vest | Red Dress Boutique dress | UOI Boutique fleece leggings | Dillard’s riding boots | Etsy monogram necklace (similar) |
Lately, I’m all about leggings with dresses and tunics. Today was no exception. I ended up wearing a red sweater dress with leggings. I decided to add my favorite black herringbone vest so that my outfit wouldn’t be too plain. I think it added the perfect touch! I finished off my look with boots and a monogram necklace.

Casual Fall Look: Featuring Memento-Monograms Make it Personal
Today, we want to share with you a casual fall look that is super comfortable, yet you still look put together. We don’t know about you, but when the colder months come, we like to dress in more cozy clothes. Obviously we love monograms and our current obsession is our quarter zips from Memento-Monograms Make it Personal! These are perfect for lazy days around the house, running errands, going to football games, and the list goes on.

| Memento quarter zips | American Eagle jeggings | Red Dress Boutique boots |
These quarter zips would also look great with bean boots, sneaker type shoes, and Sperry’s. The options are endless! One thing we absolutely love about these quarter zips is how soft they are on the inside. Sometimes sweatshirts aren’t very soft on the inside, but these definitely are! We like sweatshirts to be a little bigger on us, so we did order a size up than we usually wear. We are both wearing mediums.
With the holidays coming up, we think these quarter zips would make a great gift if you know someone who loves monograms! If you’re interested in these for yourself or someone else, here’s the item details:
Price: 38.00
Colors: Navy, Heather Gray, Hunter Green, or Black

There are also other quarter zip options on the website besides the one we linked. Memento has several other monogrammed gifts, clothing, etc as well.

| J. Crew Shirt | J. Crew Vest | American Eagle Jeggings | Dillard’s Boots |
Today was such a nice fall day! It was perfect weather to break out one of my favorite J. Crew vests! It’s also my birthday today and I got from my parents these riding boots as an early birthday present on Sunday and I’m in love! I have these boots in black and was so excited to get them in brown. My favorite fall combo is riding boots and a vest!
Michelle’s Look
| Ivy & Leo Piko top | American Eagle jeggings | Dillard’s boots | Coach scarf |
Today I felt like wearing a less dressy outfit since I had conferences the day before and was in a dress and heels all day. I decided to wear a piko top because they are so comfortable, yet you still look put together and can dress them up. I added a scarf to my outfit to make it a bit dressier and not look too plain. I also went with some black jeggings and my favorite black riding boots.

Fall Favorites Part 1: Random
Since fall is one of our favorite seasons and it’s now in full swing, we thought it would be fun to share with you our fall favorites. This is going to be a two part series. Today we’re going to share with you our random fall favorites!
Favorite Halloween Movie
We both have the same favorite Halloween movies. We couldn’t narrow it down to just one though! Our top three favorites are Casper, Hocus Pocus, and Halloweentown! We seriously can’t get enough of these movies. Every fall we watch them multiple times! Also, we really don’t like scary movies much at all so these are right up our alley!
Favorite Fall Recipe
Rachel’s favorite: Nutter Butter Ghost Cookies- I love these because they are so easy to do and they turn out so cute! They are perfect for Halloween, plus they taste delicious! You can find this recipe here.
Michelle’s favorite: Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread- this bread is SO delicious and the recipe is very simple! I bake this bread several times during the fall months. You can also use this recipe to make muffins as well! You can find this recipe here.
Favorite Fall Drink
Rachel’s favorite: Apple Cider- I have a Keurig and I love making apple cider to drink on my way to class. I’m not a huge coffee person so this is a great way to warm me up on a chilly fall day.
Michelle’s favorite: Hard Cider- I don’t really have any favorite fall coffee drinks and I’m not a big fan of apple cider. However, I love hard cider, especially during the fall months. Johhny Appleseed and Angry Orchard are two of my favorites!
Favorite Fall Activity
We both have the same favorite fall activity. We love going to the pumpkin patch every year. It’s even more fun now that we have a niece and nephew to go with. The picture above is from a few years ago so that’s why we look different (sorry about the quality)!
Favorite Candle Scent
Rachel’s favorite: Sweater Weather- I just feel like this scent is perfect for fall from the name to the scent!
Michelle favorite: Leaves- this scent just screams fall to me! I buy multiples of this candles every fall season!

Today was a pretty warm day for fall. Since I don’t know how many more nice days we will have a decided to wear a dress. | Francesca’s dress | American Eagle sweater | Target necklace | Red Dress Boutique booties |
Today we were back to having some warm fall weather in the Midwest. Even though I’m ready for the chilly fall weather, I decided to embrace this warmer day and wear a dress without tight or leggings while I still can! I got this dress when I was on vacation in August and have been meaning to wear it. I wore this sweater from American Eagle with it in the morning when it was a little cooler out and I also threw it on whenever I got cold in my classroom today. I finished off the look with a long gold necklace and some booties, which make it a bit more of a fall-like outfit.
