What We Wore Wednesday

Today it’s finally nice enough to wear a dress to class! I recently got this dress from Target when they were having a sale on their women’s clothing. As soon as I bought it I knew that I wanted to pair it with a jean jacket. Since the dress has such a loud pattern I decided to keep the accessories simple. For shoes, I went with my Vince Camuto heels that I love! They have a small heel and they are very comfortable. I’m so happy that I can finally start wearing all my spring dresses!

The weather in the Midwest lately has been pretty cold for spring.  Today it’s finally back to feeling like spring weather though!   I decided to take advantage of the weather and wear one of my favorite spring tops from Francesca’s.  I love wearing this top with the scarf I’m wearing in this picture because the colors look so good together.  Unfortunately I can’t remember at all where I got this scarf.  I decided to wear my black jeggings and flats  with this top today.  I also like wearing this top with khaki colored jeggings as well.

Today it was beautiful weather here! It was nice to be able to walk around without having to wear a coat or wear multiple layers. I also took advantage of the weather by breaking out my new Vince Camuto booties and I love them! I would definitely suggest them if you are looking for a pair of cute and comfortable booties. I also decided to go with simple gold accessories to add to this look.

Since today is the last nice day before we get a snow storm here, I decided I better take advantage of the weather!  I just got this plaid shirt from Gap while I was in Las Vegas and I really love it!  I wish I would have gotten it in a few more colors.  The material of it is so soft as well!  I decided to pair this shirt with my J. Crew Factory Winnie pants and ballet flats since it was in the high 50’s today.  Unfortunately tomorrow, I’ll probably be bundled up in all my winter wear again!

So far the weather this week has been perfect!  I love not having to wear a bunch of layers and the same shoes all the time.  Today it was around 65 degrees so I decided to wear this bright, lightweight sweater.  I figured it’s time to start breaking out some brighter colors now that the weather is getting nicer.  I decided to pair this sweater with my favorite black work pants from J. Crew Factory.  Then I finished off the look with some black ballet flats.

Even though it’s still pretty chilly outside I definitely have spring on the mind! I can’t wait until I can wear all my bright spring clothing again. Since I’m missing some color in my life I decided to go with a brighter button up under one of my favorite American Eagle sweaters. I like having a little pop of color, especially on a cold and snowy day. I also brought out my wood watch from Jord to wear. I just love how unique this wood watch is! Anyone else anxiously awaiting spring?

First off, sorry these pictures are inside and not the best.  With the weather today I unfortunately couldn’t get pictures outside.  Hopefully next week I’ll be able to.  I’ve noticed that a lot of my winter colors are solid colors and hardly any are patterns.  I’m trying to get into wearing more patterns so my outfits don’t always look the same.  The solid colors are starting to get boring, but luckily spring is coming so there will definitely be more patterns and bright colors in my wardrobe!  Today I went with this plaid cardigan from UOI Boutique that I had actually forgotten that I had.  I love the colors of it and think it looks great with the tan jeggings and brown riding boots.  I really like the elbow patches on this cardigan as well.

Today is a casual day for me, I just had class and some studying to do for an upcoming exam. Since I didn’t have a lot going on I didn’t feel the need to wear anything too exciting today. I went with a cozy open cardigan with minimal accessories and my one of my favorite pairs of riding boots. Sometimes it’s nice to have those days when you don’t need to dress up!

It’s finally starting to warm up in the midwest! I had a few meetings today and since it felt pretty warm out I decided to go with a trapeze long sleeve Express dress. I have a couple of Express’s trapeze dresses and I love them! They are so comfortable and cute. I decided to pair this dress with a pair of nude flats since I knew I would be doing a lot of walking around campus today. I’ve also styled this dress in the past with tights and booties. This dress is easy to dress up or down!

I just got these pants from Ann Taylor Loft this past weekend when I was visiting Rachel.  They’re basically thicker, dressier leggings.  I don’t know if you can tell from the picture or not, but they’re a dark grey.  They’re so comfortable and I wanted to wear them right away!  I decided to pair these leggings with this plum top because I love grey and purple together.  Unfortunately when I took this picture it was windy so it’s not laying correctly in the photo.  I then added a silver statement necklace from Bauble Bar to dress up the outfit even more for work.  I love how this look turned out and can’t wait to style these leggings with more tops!

The last few days have been extremely cold and snowy! Due to the weather I wasn’t able to take outside pictures of my outfit for today. For this look my number one priority was warmth! When picking out what to wear, I went with this sweater because it’s one of the thickest sweaters I have plus it’s so cozy. Since I have to walk to class I went with my bean boots to help keep my feet warm while trudging through the snow. This simple look will definitely do the trick of keeping me warm on this chilly day!

Is it the weekend yet?

This is actually an outfit that I wore from earlier since I am currently in Las Vegas and unable to upload pictures of my outfit. I wore this outfit for a girls day over the weekend. I went shopping and out to eat with my friends. I love this outfit because it’s simple yet still looks put together. Also, I was able to get this top from Old Navy for a very reasonable price!

Today is my second snow day in a row and I’m not complaining!  Since It’s a snow day today and I’m not leaving my house unless I go to Zumba tonight,  I went with a comfortable outfit.  Fyi, you’re not seeing me in this outfit because I haven’t done my hair or make up today either.  I still wanted to share with you what I’m wearing though.  I went with this Lauren James sweatshirt because it’s warm, comfy, and I like the color of it.  I paired it with my favorite PINK yoga pants and finished off the look with my camp socks.  I also pictured my bean boots because these are what I’ll be wearing if I ever leave my house today!

I love this cowl neck sweater!  It’s so comfortable and I like that it looks a bit dressier.  These No Nonsense leggings are perfect with this sweater and great for work since they have a dressier look as well!  I love that with this outfit I really don’t have to worry about wearing jewelry, which is nice since I’m usually figuring that out last minute before work!

I love this outfit! This is my first time wearing my No Nonsense leggings and I really like them. I think they are so fun with the faux leather detailing on the side. I’m also glad that I paired it with this long flannel top from Dry Goods, it’s the perfect length to wear with leggings. With these leggings, I was worried that I was only going to be able to wear them going out but you can definitely dress them up or down.

I love these Tory Burch riding boots that I got for Christmas and have been dying to style them with different outfits!  I also got this plaid skirt for Christmas and think it looks perfect with the Tory Burch boots.  I definitely need to invest in some nude tights now for the colder months and so people don’t have to look at my pale legs 🙂  I can’t wait to do more looks with these boots and the skirt in the future!
