Casual Weekend OOTD

If you’ve been reading our blog posts lately then you know I’ve been looking for the perfect army green utility jacket.  Well the hunt is officially over because I found one that I love.  Even better?  I bought it on sale at J.Crew Factory and it’s still on sale if you’re interested in it!

There are so many things I love about this jacket.  First off, you can really style it so many ways, as well as wear it from Spring through the Fall.  Today I went with a casual outfit, but you could dress up this jacket more.  This jacket comes with a removable hood, which was is a definite plus in my book.  In this look I’m wearing it without the hood, but I can definitely see myself using the hood when it’s colder out or even raining.  Finally, I think this jacket is the perfect length.  I really like where it hits on me.  It’s not too short or too long.  I ordered this jacket in a size small because I don’t like my jackets and coats to be a little big.  I could have gone down a size, but I like that the arms are a little looser so that in the fall I can wear layers underneath this jacket.

I can’t wait to wear this jacket more and style it with different outfits!  If you’ve been on the hunt for a jacket like this, I highly suggest this one from J.Crew Factory, especially since it’s on sale right now and is great quality!

Do you have an army green utility jacket?  What are your favorite ways to style it?

  1. Love the jacket. I have a similar one, but without the hood, which I got in Vancouver while on vacation. I’d forgotten to pack mine and found a green utility jacket at Aritzia. They go with everything!
