Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara

I received a Marc Jacobs Beauty VoxBox from Influenster and had the opportunity to try a new mascara for free.  Prior to receiving this mascara, I had never tried any makeup products from Marc Jacobs simply because of the price. There have been products that I’ve wanted to try, but Marc Jacobs Beauty is a pretty pricy brand.  Needless to say, I was really excited to try the Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara!

I’ve used this mascara for a little over a month now and I love it!  I didn’t expect to like it so much since I usually buy drugstore mascaras.  Most of the time, I think they’re just as good as the higher end ones.  After using this Marc Jacobs mascara just a few times, I knew I was sold.

First of all, I really like the packaging of this mascara, as well as the shape of the wand.  With this wand, I’m able to easily coat all of my lashes with mascara.  Going along with that, this mascara doesn’t clump at all when applying it or even throughout the day, which is very important.  Another great thing is that it’s not flaky at all either!  I already have quite long lashes, so when I’m looking for a great mascara the most important thing to me is volume.  This mascara definitely gives my lashes the added volume they need!  Last but not least, this mascara doesn’t irritate my eyes at all when I’m wearing it.

Here’s a picture of me wearing the mascara so you can get an idea of what it looks like on, at least on me!  In case you’re curious about the price of this mascara, it’s $26.00, which for Marc Jacobs doesn’t seem too bad to me.  If you would like to try out this mascara, you can find it at Sephora.

I hope you enjoyed this review!  Let me know if you’ve tried this mascara, and if you have what your thoughts are on it.
