Jord Wood Watches: Review & Style

Today we’re bringing you a review and style post.  We had the great opportunity to collaborate with Jord, a unique wood-watch brand.  We were each sent a watch that we picked out from the website.  These watches are stylish and unique.  We’re hoping that you’ll like these watches just as much as we do!

We’re not going to lie, we were hesitant about these watches when we initially heard about them.  Wood watches just didn’t seem like our style, but once we looked at all the of the different options our opinions changed.  We definitely think they look even better once you get them on and styled too!  Now let’s get into the details of each watch.

Michelle’s Watch

Maple & Lavendar Cora Series- $275

Rachel’s Watch

Zebrawood & Turquoise Cora Series-$275

Our watches are the same series and style.  The only differences in our watches are the color and type of wood.  Yes, these watches are a bit spendy, but they are great quality and will last a long time.  One thing to note about these watches is that they are splash proof.  However, they shouldn’t be submerged in water.

We also wanted to show you one way we would each style our watches with an everyday, casual outfit.

Michelle’s Look

| J. Crew Factory shirt | The Rage cardigan | American Eagle jeggings | Hope’s boots | Charming Charlie bracelet | Jord watch |

For my look,  I went with light colors and neutrals that I knew would go well with this watch and really make it pop.  The colors of this shirt and cardigan really do look perfect with the colors of this watch!  I also added a couple bracelets for some extra “arm candy”.  I think this watch is styled best with light and neutral colors.  I don’t think it would look nearly as good if you styled it with darker colors because the colors would clash with the lighter wood of the watch.

| American Eagle Button Up | Banana Republic Vest | American Eagle Jeggings | Hope’s Boots | Jord Watch |

When I got my watch I knew right away I wanted to pair it with this button up. The colors go so well together and really make the watch pop. I decided to add my reversible Banana Republic vest to add a layer to the outfit. I like how this fall look came together! With the watch color being so unique it definitely doesn’t go with all colors. However I feel that I still can find plenty of outfits that I already have to go with it!

We really think you can style these watches a lot of different ways and we can’t wait to style them more!   One thing that we think is really cool about these watches is that they are so unique.  If you’re looking for a stylish and unique watch, Jord watches might just be what you’re looking for.  There are a lot more watches on the website, including men’s watches as well.  Jord offers free shipping word-wide, which is a nice added bonus.

Here are two other watches from the Jord website that we really love and think you would be interested in too!

  1. Purpleheart & Plum Frankie Series
  2. Maple & Rose Gold Sidney Series

Let us know what you think of these watches in the comments below!  Can you see yourself wearing a wood watch?  How would you style it?

***We were sent the watches from Jord in exchange for an honest review.  All opinions are our own in this post.  When we collaborate with a company, we only do so when it’s products we’re excited about and know we would love.  We will never collaborate with a company we have no interest in and doesn’t fit our personalities.
