Lee Stafford Ubuntu Oils Line Review

Today we have another Lee Stafford review for you!  If you’ve been following our blog from the beginning, then you know that we love Lee Stafford hair products!  We were lucky enough that we were sent a lot of the products from Lee Stafford’s newest line, which is available at Ulta.  This line features four oils from Africa: Baobab Oil-moisturizing for dry hair, Mafura Oil for coarse/ damaged hair, Marula Oil- lightweight repairing, and Mongongo Oil- anti-fade protection against UV rays, for color treated hair.  The products retail from $9.99-$14.99

Since we got so many products and wanted to really try them out before reviewing them for you, we decided to divide the products between us.  We also gave our older sister, Danielle, one product to try and review since we had an odd number of products.  Now let’s get into what we think of the products!

Moisturizing Hair Butter with Baobab Oil: This hair butter reminds me of a body butter, except it’s for your hair.  This hair butter is very thick like a body butter.  When using this product, I put it in my hair after my shampoo and let it sit for about five minutes before I rinse it out.  I find that this product makes my hair softer and just overall feel better when I use it.  The scent of this product is great too!  I would definitely recommend this product.  I will be buying this product when I run out, which will be soon since mine is almost gone!

Moisturizing Heat Protection Spray with Baobab Oil: This product again has a great scent to it.  I would say of all the heat protectants I’ve used, this one smells the best out of all of them.  Like any other heat protectant spray, I spray this all over my hair before I straighten or curl my hair.  This heat protection spray really sprays nicely.  I feel like I can easily cover all my hair with around three sprays, which is nice.  This hair product is also suppose to moisturize your hair.  I can’t say if this hair product specifically did this to my hair or not because I use quite a few hair products that help moisturize my hair.  Overall, this is a great heat protection spray, especially with the awesome scent it has!

Repair Oil with Mafura Oil: This product is for coarse/ damaged hair.  I wouldn’t say this is my hair type.  My hair is thick and quite healthy due to the hair products I’m using right now.  However, this product fit my hair better than Rachel’s so I decided to try it anyway.  When using this product, I would apply a pump or two to my hair when it’s dry, usually after it’s styled.  I noticed that this would make my hair softer when using it.  I believe you can also apply this to wet hair.  I never applied it to my hair when it was wet just because I use quite a few products already on my wet hair before blow drying.  Since I only use a pump or two of this product at a time, this product will last me a long time!

Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner with Baobab Oil: I’m always looking for a good shampoo and conditioner to use. When looking for shampoo and conditioner one of my biggest things that I look for is a good smelling product. I love how these both smell! Not only does it leave my hair smelling great after I use it, they also make my hair feel super soft as well. I have almost used up both of these and will definitely be ordering more!

Light Oil Repairing Mist for fine/ damaged hair: I use a lot of heat on my hair which can leave it damaged. Using this product has helped repair my hair and leave it looking healthier. I also like that after I use this product I don’t feel like it makes my hair greasy at all. An added bonus to this product is that it also smells great! After switching basically all my main hair products to Lee Stafford my hair is looking healthier than ever!

Moisturizing Blow Dry Smootheee with Baobab Oil: This product made my hair smell amazing and stay smooth all day long! It’s also not a sticky product like some hair products I have used in the past. I also like how it doesn’t make my hair look or feel greasy. If you blow dry your hair regular I definitely suggest that you buy this product.

Have you tried any of these products yet?  If not, do you plan on trying any?  Let us know in the comments below!
